BASIC CONCEPT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- In line with the Company Vision “to be one of the best provider and developer of natural asphalt in Asia”, the focus of business development shall be to create natural asphalt product with prime quality and high value-added, through processing or industry, it’s not just merely selling the raw material from the mining operation.
- Therefore the company transformation shall be directed into the development of the natural asphalt processing industry.
TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE GROWTH
- The change of focus into the processing industry was aimed to bring the company towards sustainable growth.
- Processed natural asphalt product with prime quality for sure will be able to substitute imported oil asphalt, currently dominated almost 70% consumption for national road infrastructure construction.
- Estimated deposit of natural asphalt available in Buton Island was approximately +/- 700 million tons and the consumption of asphalt in Indonesia of around 1.4 million tons per year, has made the utilization of natural asphalt become the correct choice to resolve the problem of national asphalt deficit with guaranteed sustainability.
