Jakarta, Indonesia – During the second quarter of 2020, PT WIKA Bitumen resumed work on the Serang Panimbang Toll Road Project which had suffered a setback due to the COVID-19 pandemic which affected most of the construction work in Indonesia. However, as one of the main subcontracts, PT WIKA Bitumen remains committed and focused on working on a tight schedule with maximum results.

The highway with a length of 50 kilometers in total, in which currently PT WIKA Bitumen work on does not only doing the coating on the roadside, but also includes asphalting bridges, ramp, inlet and exit lanes from the main highway. Reaching the 40% progress of the project, Serang – Panimbang Toll Road project is expected to be completed on schedule by 2021.

PT WIKA Bitumen has great hopes that this project will benefit the people of West Java and its surrounding areas as the main connecting access from the city of Serang to Panimbang, and the quality of WIKA Bitumen's products and work become the main standard in asphalt works projects in terms of quality and final results.
